I would like to draw your attention to a recent decision made by the ATCA Board of Management regarding penalties for clubs in breach of ATCA Bylaw D13 – Dress.
Within the next couple of months the association will conduct an audit in conjunction with the four approved licensed suppliers confirming which clubs are non-compliant. Please see below for penalties to be applied.
Fines for Non-Compliant Clubs
Clubs in breach of Bylaw D13 (1) - All member club on field apparel must be purchased from one of the associations listed four (4) approved licensed suppliers, unless prior written approval had been sought and granted in accordance with ATCA’s email of 22 August 2017.
Clubs in breach of Bylaw D13 (1) will face an initial upfront fine of $1000 with $500 of that suspended for 12 months, in addition clubs will also forgo any rights to host any senior finals.
Continued Non-compliance in each remaining season over the life of the agreement will result in the $500 suspended fine rescinded and an additional financial penalty of $100 per team per match imposed, for both seniors and junior teams, dispensed to clubs. The loss of the right to host finals will be continued.
The ATCA would like to thank the clubs using or committed to support our apparel sponsors. The support of some 90% of the ATCA clubs are appreciated.
